Vacation on the S/V Kya Anne  – Day #05

Though it seemed mild to me, we continue to receive maritime advisories from the Coast Guard on the VHF. Paul is cheerfully eating the healthy breakfast of chia, flax, and goji berries I have prepared the last couple of mornings.  Despite the weather advisory and mild wind, it’s very peaceful here, but Paul said it’s not advisable or wise to travel in these conditions, so we are staying put for the time being. There are a lot of other boats anchored around us, too, and nobody else seems to be going anywhere, either. I’m joyfully soaking in every minute of the sun, warmth and water.
