It’s all so magical… or it would be, if your feet weren’t freezing.  Cold toes are truly the bane of winter fun.

If you want to enjoy all that winter has to offer, you have to be prepared.  Keeping your core warm is essential, but your extremities are also important…

Fingers and toes must not be neglected, and quality apparel is paramount to surviving a winter with all extremities intact. Merino wool is a wonderful for protecting fingers, toes and everything in between.

What makes merino wool so wonderful?

It’s good when you’re hot and good when you’re cold. When it’s hot, the fibers absorb your body’s moisture vapors and evaporate them outside of the fabric, allowing you to stay nice and cool. When it’s cold, the moisture vapors condense inside the fiber, giving off heat and keeping you warm.

  • Odor Resistant! Merino wool absorbs odor and only releases it upon washing. Even better- you don’t need to wash it each time you’ve worn it. Simply hang it in the fresh air for a day or so.
  • Quick drying. Merino wool  releases water easily and dries much faster than other garments are. Whether machine dried, laid flat or placed it on a hanger- it dries quickly and is ready to wear again in no time!
  • Wrinkle resistant. The elastic properties of the merino fiber make it extremely wrinkle resistant. Simply hang them for half an hour and you’re good to go!
  • Machine Washable – Merino wool has a naturally protective outer layer that prevent stains from setting. Wash on a low temperature (read the care label).
  • Durability –  Merino wool is 6 times stronger than cotton.

Renewable – Merino wool comes from sheep, who exist on is the product of water, fresh air and grass (and sheep, obviously!)

Renewable – Merino wool fibers naturally decompose.

UV resistant – The fabric protects from damaging UV radiation.

Hypoallergenic –  Merino wall is beneficial for those with sensitive skin. Research has shown that it can reduce eczema symptoms in children and adults.

Itch free! -Merino wool is flexible, bending softly against your skin.

Merino wool is a game changer when it comes to the winter elements.  Unfortunately, it can be an expensive investment with certain brands.
