Labyrinth Lessons – Impact

We visited Kessler Park UMC (United Methodist Church) located 1215 Turner Avenue, Dallas, TX on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at approximately 9:10 a.m.  It was the first of two labyrinth walks that day, and both were equally beautiful (but different) and peaceful Chartres replicas.

Kessler Park UMC has the most detailed labyrinth brickwork I have ever seen.  It was truly remarkable, and the three of us (Andrew, Mikayla and I) spent a fair amount of time just marveling at the intricacy and attention of the bricklayers.

Once we were done appreciating the craftsmanship, we each walked the labyrinth.  My lessons were as follows:

It will be sudden and unexpected

This whole experience has been a lesson in love-

the strength, the pain, the power, the grief 

Look deeper
