Labyrinth Lessons – A Time & Pace

It was a pleasure to walk this labyrinth at a private residence in Dallas, TX on June 6, 2022.

Though I was anxious (in a good way!) to meet up with Andrew and Mikayla, I KNEW that I needed this bit of time to walk in solitude.

There are not a lot of labyrinths listed on the labyrinth locator website that are at private residences, and I remain grateful to the homeowners who responded to my email inquiry and welcomed me to walk their labyrinth. Their labyrinth was just off to the side of their front yard in a quiet neighborhood in/near Dallas.

As always, wisdom prevailed.

Slow down. Don’t be in such a hurry.

Whether this was in direct response to the sense of urgency I felt to hurry up so I could meet up with Andrew and Mikayla, or if it pertained to my intense and ongoing desire to figure out ‘What’s next?’, this reminder to slow down was both timely and necessary.

Small things can be very powerful

Lots of adages come to mind…..

  • Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies. – Mother Teresa
  • Great things are done by a series of small things brought together. – Vincent Van Gogh
  • If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way. – Napoleon Hill
  • Even the largest avalanche is triggered by small things. – Vernor Vinge

Regardless of what adage best resonates with you, the point remains the same… it is, quite often, the little things.
