Best. Neighbors. Ever.
My Tahoe decide to crap out on me as Hunter and I were driving home from Holden tonight. I made it to the park that is a few blocks from home before it died, so I did what I usually do in a crisis- call my neighbor. This time it was neighbor Steve, though sometimes it’s neighbor Tod (I try to rotate their superhero duties so I don’t tax them too much or wear out the graciousness and patience of their wives…) As I was waiting, ANOTHER neighbor was driving by and generously sidelined his errand to turn around and tow us home. With the help of neighbor Steve, neighbor Greg and Steve’s friend Q (whose dinner I interrupted), they got the Tahoe home and pushed it into the driveway, where I await help from superstar mechanic Micaela.
The day could be better, but it could also be worse. I have amazing friends & neighbors. I am so fortunate.
